सामान्य जानकारी -: मनी प्लान्ट, दक्षिणपूर्व एशिया मूलरूप से (मलेशिया, इण्डोनेशिया) का लता रूप में पसरने वाला पौधा है। इसकी पत्तियाँ सदा हरी रहतीं हैं। ये तने पर एकान्तर क्रम में लगी होती हैं और हृदय जैसी आकृति वाली होती हैं।

Epipremnum aureum एक सदाबहार लता है जो 20 मीटर तक ऊंची होती है, जिसके तने का व्यास 4 सेमी  तक होता है, जो aerial roots का उपयोग करके चढ़ती है ये सतहों से चिपक जाती हैं।
