General Information -: Dracaena angustifolia is a species of Asian tropical forest under-storey plants in the family Asparagaceae; no subspecies are listed in the Catalogue of Life.

Description-: The native range of this species is from Bangladesh, through Indo-China and Malesia to northern Australia.

D. angustifolia is a shrub, up to 3 metres high, with leaves 150–250 millimetres , 20–30 millimetres wide. The yellowish flowers are about 20 millimetres long.

Uses -: 1). The leaves are used to make green food coloring. 

2). D. angustifolia is used traditionally as medicine for several different ailments.

3). It is also planted as a hedge.
